Spotlight on the 13th Legislative District race
On Nov. 8, residents in the 13th Legislative District will decide whether three-term Republican incumbent John Lawrence returns to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the next two years, or whether they vote instead for Democratic nominee Nancy Dean, a retired teacher and clergy who is seeking office for the first time. In advance of the election, the Chester County Press asked each candidate about their professional experiences, some of the more pressing issues the state is facing, and what residents in the 13th Legislative District have identified as their top concerns moving forward.
