The 4-week class (every other week), taught by Rabbi Lance Sussman, will explore the sweep of Philadelphia Jewish history. For much of its history, Philadelphia has functioned as the Jewish Capital of America. At other times, it has been paradigmatic of the American Jewish experience and, thus, in many ways is part of the "national" story the Museum is dedicated to exploring.
