West Chester, PA – March 13, 2015 – ACT in Faith of Greater West Chester will host its 4th annual premier fundraising event on Thursday March 19, 2015 from 6pm-9pm at Milestone Events, 600 W. Market St., West Chester, PA 19382. Attendees will sample culinary delights from four of the area’s most renowned restaurants: Avalon Modern Italian Restaurant & Bar, Harvest Seasonal Grille and Wine Bar, Side Bar & Restaurant and Spence 312. For dessert, guests will enjoy the confections of Carlino’s, Gemelli’s, West Chester Diner and Yori’s. Brandywine Catering will provide overall event support for the fourth year running. “We look forward to this event every year,” stated Denise Antonelli, President of the ACT in Faith Board. “It gives us the opportunity to involve the West Chester community in our mission, while also providing a fun and tasty night out.” Event-goers have the opportunity to sample specialties dinner items from each restaurant -- and new this year -- vote for their favorite dish. "The restaurants we work with are very generous in supporting ACT in Faith, and while we know only one will leave with the title of “Best of Chef’s Best 2015,” voting is sure to be close as these are all stellar establishments and fantastic community partners.” “For most of us, hardships such as those we experience during a server weather season like this winter and last are temporary. But there are many in West Chester who face the long-term reality of having no power, no food or no roof and no where to turn for help.” says Hallie Romanowski, Executive Director of ACT in Faith. Established in 2010, ACT in Faith seeks to provide support for the un- and under- employed in our community who either aren’t aware of the services and support that are available in the County or do not qualify for any of those services. “Our Chef’s Best annual fundraiser is so important because it helps us raise both awareness and funds so that ACT in Faith can remain a place for people to turn to when they are facing hardship.” Tickets for Chef’s Best are available for $45 and wine and beer will be available at the event for an additional cost.
