Trial Run 5K supporting free civil legal aid

15th annual 5K run-walk | Struble Trail, Downingtown

DOWNINGTOWN - The Chester County Division of Legal Aid of Southeastern PA will host the 15th annual Trial Run 5K Run / Walk on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 8 a.m. The race will take place, rain or shine, at Struble Trail in Downingtown. The staging area is at the Pennsylvania Avenue park entrance, across from Planet Fitness (150 E Pennsylvania Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335).

Register at: https://www.itsyourrace.com/event.aspx?id=631 Trial Run 5K. Only $10 before June 1, and $15 afterward and on race day. Prize money will be awarded to the first- and second-place overall male / female runners.

Since its start in 2005, the race has raised more than $234,000 to support free civil legal aid. Between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2018, LASP Chester County handled 1,384 civil legal cases in areas including domestic abuse, family law, housing, public benefits and more.

About Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania: LASP provides free civil legal services in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties.
