The Hickman is excited to host Art of Caring: Passport to Art on March 30th at Oakbourne Mansion. This year’s gala-like event will include the following artists creating pieces live that evening: Watercolorist and fine ink artist, Kris Berlin of Kris Berlin Art; mixed media artist, Sarah Bourne Rafferty of Atwater Designs; mosaic artist, Amy Bruckner of Piece of Mind Mosaics; folk artist, Eunice LaFate of LaFate Gallery; jewelry designer, Pamela M. Levin of Nivell Jewelry; and pottery and textile artist, Nancy R. Salamon of Clay Born Pottery & Textiles.

Their pieces, along with other works of art and fine items, will be in the silent and live auctions. Proceeds from the event support The Hickman’s Resident Assistance Fund, which provides assistance to residents who are facing financial hardships and are no longer able to cover their room and board, and/or additional personal care services.
