Joanne Isaac: Prints in the Cafe

Old City Coffee will be celebrating the life and work of storied artist, Joanne Isaac, with the first posthumous showing of her work.

Starting on November 2nd, Old City Coffee be celebrating the work of storied artist, Joanne Isaac, with the first posthumous showing of her artwork. She specialized in etching, and her beautiful pieces of art can be found in impressive private collections of the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Embassy in Paris, and the Free Library of Philadelphia. Isaac is described by many as a woman ahead of her time, pursuing a career as an artist and having a family during an era in which most women did not enter the workforce. She even designed the original Old City Coffee logo, as well as Old City Coffee’s unique espresso cups.




Come celebrate the artist’s life and work with us at Old City Coffee! The showing will kick off on November 2nd with an opening reception from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The artwork will stay on display until February 1st, and the showing will conclude with a closing part that night from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. See you there!
