Judah Kim & The Assassination, who are currently WMMR’s “Jaxon’s Local Shots Artists Of The Month” for June, will be performing at “The Top Of The World Concert Series” for Philly Beer Week on Saturday, June 9.

The Top of The World performance, which is located on the roof the Whole Foods in Plymouth Meeting, will feature eight other bands, DJ Art Cuebik and Bobcast and Neshaminy Creek beer specials from 6 PM to 11 PM.

Citing influences including the bravado of Muse, the laidback flair of Rooney and the guitar work of the Strokes, Judah Kim & The Assassination includes band members Judah Kim [Stonethrown] songwriting and vocals, Bob Cahill [ex-Downtown Harvest, Pocket Deal] on bass, Isaac Windle [The Strange Heat, Pocket Dial] on guitar, and Jon McNally [Agent Moosehead] on drums and percussion, and Kevin Cox [solo project] on guitar, keyboards and background vocals.

The band has also just been selected as one of the performers for Wawa’s Welcome America Celebration on July 4.
