04/13/2015 10:15AM ● By J. Chambless
Robert Clarke was appointed as the new police chief for East Marlborough Township at the April 6 meeting of the township's Board of Supervisors.
Gerald Davis, who was the township’s first police chief, retired in February.
Clarke has been in law enforcement for 32 years, and has been an officer in East Marlborough since 2003. He will be sworn in at the police facilities on April 25 at 9 a.m. The public is invited to the ceremony, and to tour the new police trailer at the location.
At the meeting, Board of Supervisors chairman Cuyler Walker said, “Gerry served the citizens of East Marlborough faithfully and with dedication for over 12 years.  We are fortunate to have someone of Clarke’s caliber and experience within our ranks to take on this critical role.”
