Ballet 180 begins its season with the return of the full-length production “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” The production is aptly titled after the musical score from the classic 1965 film, “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” which boasts a wonderful assortment of holiday music by jazz musician and songwriter Vince Guaraldi. Honoring the contemporary style of Ballet 180, the ballet production takes on a fluid, jazzy style that brings to life the upbeat, jazzy tempos from the original score.

Audiences can expect a crowd-pleasing performance of technically challenging dances, entertaining moments of comedy, and even singing. This family friendly production will tell the story about the true meaning of Christmas in a new, creative way that will be sure to leave you in the spirit for the holiday season.

Performances will be on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 3 and 7 p.m. at the Wayne United Methodist Church. Tickets for "A Charlie Brown Christmas" are available for purchase online through www.ballet180.org. Advanced sale tickets are $25 for general admission and half off for children under 18. Tickets are available at the door for an additional $5 each.

Ballet 180’s goal is to facilitate a 180-degree transformation in the lives of our dancers and the community by creating a positive platform for high quality artistry and service to society.
