The Enchantment Theatre Company of Philadelphia recently visited Nottingham Elementary School to present “The Fisherman and the Flounder,” an original production based on the classic Grimm fairy tale about a humble fisherman whose life is changed (at least temporarily) after he spares the life of a magical flounder.

Established in 2000, Enchantment Theatre Company has toured throughout the United States and around the world, appearing in venues including the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, Lincoln Center in New York and the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

The two Nottingham grade-level performances were made possible through an underwriting grant from the 1675 Foundation.
