The Lighthouse Youth Center is hosting its 24th annual benefit golf tournament on Friday, Aug. 8. The money raised during the event will be used to support various programs that help young people in the Oxford area.

The golf tournament takes place at the Tanglewood Golf Club in Quarryville. It will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. and end with a fried chicken dinner. Prizes will be awarded during the dinner.

The Lighthouse Youth Center offers free meals each day, craft programs, cooking classes, camp trips, weekly Bible studies, and a monthly trip for youngsters. Each Monday through Friday, youngsters have opportunities to spend time in the activity room and socialize with their friends.

For more information or a sponsorship and entry form for the golf tournament, call 484-880-2018 or email buzz@oxfordlighthouse.org.
