Joseph's People meeting

The monthly Joseph's People West Grove meeting for the unemployed and underemployed will be on July 23 at 7 p.m. in the Parish Life Center (lower level) of ABVM's Church (300 State Rd.). The guest speaker will be John Colarusso, former JP unemployed member, recent employment success story and current JP volunteer. Buffet breakfast

Oxford United Methodist Church (18 Addison St., Oxford) is holding a buffet breakfast on July 26 featuring buttermilk pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, sausage, bacon, roasted potatoes, dried beef gravy and specialty breads. Prices are $6 for adults and $3 for ages 3 to 10. Proceeds benefit the Oxford United Methodist Church’s general fund.


July 27 to 31

Vacation Bible school

Oxford United Methodist Church (18 Addison St., Oxford) hosts a summer vacation Bible school from July 27 to 31, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each day. By joining "Weird Animals," children take part in bible activities, sing songs, play teamwork-building games, enjoy snacks and make science-based toys to take home. Aug. 5 to 7

St. Christopher's Bible school

St. Christopher's Episcopal Church (116 Lancaster Pike, Oxford) will offer a vacation Bible school on Aug. 5, 6 and 7 from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. It will be run by Christine Goins, the church's coordinator of children's ministries. All ages are welcome. Call 610-932-8134.


Living God Lutheran services

Living God Lutheran Church (3200 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook) holds Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday school at 11 a.m., with child care. The church's motto is

Crafters wanted

Nottingham Presbyterian Church in Nottingham is holding its annual family fun day and craft fair on Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Herr's Snack Factory parking lot (routes 1 and 272), and is looking for exhibitors. A silent auction will be held to benefit Heart of Hope in West Grove, whose mission is to help families facing the challenges of pediatric heart transplants. A booth space is $20 ($30 for a double).
