Kennett High School graduates named to All-Academic Team

The Kennett Consolidated School District announced this week that five members of Kennett High School’s Class of 2014 have been named to U.S. Lacrosse Philadelphia region girls' All-Academic team. The five scholar-athletes are Emily Cziraky, Haley Devoe, Katherine Gallivan, Kristin Schaen, and Hannah Shiflet.

Cziraky will attend University of North Carolina in the fall. Devoe will attend Virginia Tech. Gallivan is a rising senior. Schaen will continue her lacrosse career at Lafayette College where she will study international economics and commerce. Shiflet is a rising senior 

A U.S. Lacrosse All-Academic honoree is a player who exhibits exemplary lacrosse skills, good sportsmanship on the field, and represents high standards of academic achievement. This player also should have left her mark beyond the lacrosse field and the classroom by making significant contributions of service to the school and/or community.
