As part of its Summer 2014 series, the Chester County Pops Orchestra will return to Oxford Area High School on July 19 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, and free for students and children. Tickets can be purchased at www.chescopops.org, and will be available at the door.

The new summer program, "Dancing with the Pops!", will feature dance music from around the world. Joined by dancers from McDade-Cara School of Irish Dance and the Oxford Center for Dance, music director Joseph Gehring will conduct the Pops. The concert culminates with music from “West Side Story.”

The Chesco Pops brings together 65 Chester County instrumentalists for every concert. Since its founding in 2005, the orchestra has performed more than 50 concerts at more than 20 venues in the county. The Chesco Pops is partnering with a local non-profit in each of the communities where the concert venues are located. A percentage of ticket revenues from the Oxford concert will be awarded to the Oxford Area Senior Center.
