A traffic stop was conducted at Newark and Laurel Heights roads. The driver, Anthony Deeds, 32, of Newark, Del., had a marijuana cigar on the driver's side floor, and an odor of marijuana was detected in the car. Police said "additonal contraband" was found in the console when Deeds removed his paperwork. He was arrested on drug-related charges, arraigned and released on $15,000 bail.

He failed sobriety tests and was taken into custody for DUI. He was released pending a court appearance.
