01/14/2014 07:09PM, Published by ACL, Categories: In Print, Home+Garden

Are you an empty-nester or contemplating retirement and need fresh ideas for updating your home?  Do you care for an aging parent or a loved one with special needs?  Are you thinking about building a new home but need recommendations on design features that will accommodate your future needs?  If so, there will be an architectural design workshop on Wednesday, Jan. 29.

Dennis Melton, a local architect and principal of Melton Architects, will offer suggestions on how you can build for a lifetime with housing design techniques, features for sustainable living, long-term independence and in-home caregiving.

The workshop takes place at 7 p.m. at the Oxford Arts Alliance (38 S. 3rd St., Oxford).  Call 610-932-5244 to register for the workshop.
