The Four Seasons Garden Club of Kennett Square will be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to a graduating high school senior or college student with plans to further their education in horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, conservation, forestry, biology, botany, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental control, city (rural and urban) planning, land management or allied subjects.

Applicants for this scholarship must be a resident of Pennsylvania and must be planning to attend college full time (12 hours for undergraduates, nine hours for graduates, no doctoral candidates accepted). The college or university of the awardee does not have to be located in Pennsylvania. If the applicant is a child, grandchild, or legal dependent of a Federated Garden Club member, an additional five points will be added to the selection score. The deadline for application is Jan. 18. The application is available online at https://sites.google.com/site/fourseasonsscholarship.
