The Jennersville Regional Hospital Cancer Program will offer free oral cancer screenings by appointment on Oct. 21 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

As part of the screening, Michael Ward, M.D. and Timothy Downey, M.D., board-certified otolaryngologists, will provide quick and painless examinations of the mouth and neck.  Information about oral cancers, early detection and prevention is also provided.

People who smoke, chew tobacco or drink alcohol on a regular basis should be screened on a regular basis for this disease.  For more information or an appointment, call the Jennersville Regional Hospital Cancer Care Line at 610-869-1396.

Jennersville Regional Hospital, a member of the Jefferson Cancer Network, is at 1015 W. Baltimore Pike in West Grove.  For directions, visit www.jennersville.com.
