Hornets take break from gridiron to man griddle for kids
Members of the Oxford Area High School varsity football team recently volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Delaware, a place to stay for families with hospitalized children who are receiving treatment.
Team members and their parents helped prepare a Sunday morning breakfast of French toast, breakfast casseroles, doughnuts and sausage for the families. After breakfast, the players and their parents were given a tour of the facility, and presented each of the children with an official Hornet Football lanyard.
