Hospital program looks at the heart
The public is invited to learn some ways to safeguard their hearts and reduce the risk of heart disease as cardiologist Nicholas Skiadas, M.D., presents “Protecting Your Heart” on July 23 at 6 p.m. in the Jennersville Regional Hospital cafeteria.
Part of the hospital’s ongoing “Dinner with the Doctor” series, the program is free for registrants.
Skiadas earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biophysics at John Hopkins University and attended Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital (now Drexel University College of Medicine), followed by a cardiovascular fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. He grew up in the Chester County area, and attended Unionville Middle School and Tower Hill School in Wilmington, Del. He has an office in West Grove on the campus of Jennersville Regional Hospital.
