Chester County Press

A note to our readers

07/17/2013 09:09AM ● By Acl

There was a delay in the delivery of the July 10 edition of the Chester County Press because of changes in the mailing process by the U.S. Post Office.

When the Chester County Press is printed each Wednesday, it is presented to the Oxford Post Office, which delivers all the papers addressed to residents in the Oxford area. All the papers for subscribers who live outside Oxford are sent to a regional center for proper distribution. The delays are occurring now because the southeastern Pennsylvania sectional center has been closed and the papers are now being sent to a sectional center in New Castle, Del. The sectional center is apparently having difficulty processing the influx of new mail.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused for our subscribers. Ad Pro, Inc., the parent company of the Chester County Press, is working with the Post Office to resolve the issues, and we hope that normal delivery will resume starting with the July 17 edition.
