Nottingham Presbyterian Church (Route 272 and Old Baltimore Pike, Nottingham) will hold a chicken barbeque on June 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The meal will include half a chicken, applesauce, pepper cabbage, chips, a roll with butter, dessert, and a drink. The cost per ticket is $9. Proceeds from this benefit will be donated to Project Blessing, the Capital Building Campaign of the Lighthouse Youth Center in Oxford. Oxford United Methodist Church (18 Addison St., Oxford) offers a buffet breakfast for the community on June 22 from 7 to 10 a.m. There will be buttermilk pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, fruit, sausage, bacon, roasted potatoes, dried beef gravy and specialty breads.
