Q & A Gerald Simpson, Police Chief, New Garden Township
Ever since New Garden Township Police Chief Gerald Simpson came to his current position a few years ago, after serving as a lieutenant for the City of Newark Police Department for several years, he and his department have become the truest definition of “good neighbors.”
Under his leadership, the unit has facilitated several town hall meetings, improved its website and empowered citizens to work with them to keep the township safe. Recently, Landenberg Today caught up with Chief Simpson, where he discussed what he's learned about the people of Landenberg, his ideas for the future of his department, the team he works with, and what it would be like to have dinner with the founders of our country.
