Canine Partners for Life’s Fall Festival returns

09/12/2021 11:01PM ● By Steven Hoffman
Canine Partners for Life (CPL) will be holding its Fall Festival, the organization’s largest event of the year, on Saturday, Sept. 18 from noon to 4 p.m. All ages are welcome to the event, which takes place at the campus at 334 Faggs Manor Road in Cochranville.
Guests can start their day by visiting the CPL mission booths, taking a kennel tour or meeting puppies at the ever-popular Puppy Kissing Booth. In between the CPL stops, shop from unique vendors, choose between five food trucks for lunch, purchase a glass of wine from Chaddsford Winery and visit the Kid’s Corner.
“CPL’s Fall Festival will be a fun day to celebrate and share the CPL mission which is to increase the independence and quality of life of individuals with disabilities through full service and home companion partnerships,” said Janie Cramer, the organization’s executive director.
“Meet a graduate who will share their story, observe a training demonstration or visit the puppy kissing booth. It will be a day to catch up with old friends, meet new friends and celebrate the community that has supported CPL for 32 years.”
The day ends with Cow Bingo, which is a game of chance. The cow will be released at 3 p.m., and whichever square the cow heeds the call of nature on will be the lucky winner of $5,000. Tickets are $10 each, squares are randomly assigned and chances are 1 in 3,000. Tickets are on sale now and will sell out quickly. The winner does not need to be present to win.
This event is rain or shine. All parking will be on site, at the CPL facility. Personal pets are not permitted. Masks will be required for indoor activities. To learn more or download a Cow Bingo order form, visit CPL’s website or Facebook page.
