ACE answers, 'Why buy Free Trade?'

Ten Thousand Village speaker Mary Ellen Gingerich will explain how buying Free Trade items and gifts combats human slavery, especially child slavery, at the monthly meeting of ACE (Advocating, Collaborating, Educating) Anti-Human Trafficking Alliance of Oxford on Nov. 1 at 9:30 a.m. at the Oxford Senior Center.  The public is invited for coffee and doughnuts at 9 a.m., followed by the one-hour presentation and discussion.  Local places to buy Fair Trade products will be highlighted. The Oxford Senior Center is at 12 E. Locust St. Parking is limited (parking is also available in the lot of the Church of the Nazarene at 116 E. Locust St.).
