Kennett Square plans inaugural Evening of the Arts for April 4

Historic Kennett Square is launching a new event, Evening of the Arts, to promote the arts in the area. The inaugural event will take place on Friday, April 4 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Genesis Healthcare Building (101 E. State St.). 

Live music, local wine and beer and a sampling of foods from local restaurants will be offered throughout the evening. All proceeds benefit Historic Kennett Square. There is no cost for admission but donations are appreciated. This event coincides with the regular First Friday Art Stroll in Kennett Square, which takes place 6 to 9 p.m.

More than 30 regional artists are participating, including Bill Basciani, Ann Bellenger, Barbara Bugliani, Diane Cannon, Neilson Carlin, Favi Dubo, Francine Dailey, Doris Davis-Glackin, Karen Delany, Dave Eldreth, Rhoda Kahler, Monique Kendikian-Sarkessian, Wanda Kevis, Carol Lesher, Mitch Lyons, Jeremy McGirl, Charlie Metzger, Victor Mordasov, Susan Myers, Carla Pastore, Mimi Peterson, Matthew Reinert, Francis Roosevelt, Jeff Schaller, Sandra Severson, Sandra Sigley, Stan Smokler, Sally Van Orden, Tim Vaughan, Deb Watson and Emily Wilkins.
