Kennett Square woman arrested for drug sales

An investigation by Kennett Square police that began in July ended on Nov. 15 with the arrest of a Kennett Square woman, who was charged with selling prescription medications out of her home.
Rose A. Diaz, 64, of 439 E. South St., was arrested as police conducted a search of her home, turning up several prescription medications and marijuana. She had been suspected of selling oxycodone and percocet without a license. She was charged with five counts of delivery, and possession with intent to deliver prescription medication.
During the execution of the search warrant, Victor Nova-Castaneda, 27, was at the home and found to be in possession of about an ounce of marijuana.
Diaz was taken to Chester County Prison in lieu of $15,000 cash bail. Nova-Castaneda was arrested and taken to Chester County Prison in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
Kennett Square police were assisted in the investigation by the Chester County Detectives and the District Attorney's Office.
