Oxford Area High School graduates and seniors named AP scholars

Fifteen members of the Oxford Area High School Class of 2013 and five current students recently earned 2012-2013 AP Scholar awards from the College Board, which administers the AP Exams.

These students have demonstrated college-level achievement through AP courses and exams. The average score among the 20 students on the AP Exams was 3.87.

Earning AP Scholar designation, granted to students who achieve scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams, were 2013 graduates Nelson Beimfohr, Nicole Gallagher, Elizabeth Hershey, Matthew Kane, James Miller, Emily Perdue, Ashlie Pilotti and Dalton Wolfe, and current seniors Jennifer Carr, Sarah Graff, Tanner Smith and Mary Williams.

Earning AP Scholar with Honor, granted to students who achieve an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams, were 2013 graduates Caroline Hamilton, Patrick Reagan and Devon Stroup.

Earning AP Scholar with Distinction, granted to students who achieve an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams, were 2013 graduates Aaron George, Edward Goodley, Anne Nusbaum and Lauren Thomson, and current junior Alex Coleman.
