We are “All One Under the Sun.” Join the community in this family friendly fundraiser 5K in Anson B. Nixon Park to support LCH’s health center, social assistance services, and education and workforce development programs. 8:00 am: Registration 9:00 am: Run Start 9:05 am: Walk Start 10:00 am: Children’s Dash Course Description: The run is a fast course through and around the park with chip timing. The one-mile walk includes fun family activities at stations along the way. There will be food, live music, goody bags, event t-shirts, and family activities, including an appearance by Philadelphia Union team members. 5K Race Fee: $25 for pre-registered runners* $30 for day-of registration *5K runners in teams of five or more pay only $20 per person (must pre-register) 1-Mile Fun Walk Fee: $15 for walkers Children ages 8 and under participate in any event for just $5. Awards: Top three male and female runners receive medals. Medals will also be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in 5-year age groups. TEAMS will receive awards for Largest Team, Best Team Spirit, and Highest Amount Raised! Fundraising Awards: Top three individual fund-raisers will receive awards. Raising funds beyond the race entry fee is optional, but you may use the center of our event brochure to track your sponsors. Donations can be mailed to LCH or turned in to the registration table on race day.
