Fall Harvest Festival

The 18th century comes alive during the Fall Harvest Festival at Newlin Grist Mill! Featuring the sights, sounds, and smells of colonial America, visitors to the festival are invited to shop in the Colonial Market for soap, sweet treats, games and more. Tradesmen and artisans return to demonstrate papermaking, colonial brewing, iron making, brickmaking, blacksmithing, historic baking, and milling throughout the day. New presenters in 2015 include colonial puppet shows, rifle making, pottery making, and pretzel baking. Historic lighting and Native American skills will also be demonstrated. Be sure to check out the archaeological dig, and join us in the Colonial Tavern from 1 -3 PM for historic samples, courtesy of Yards Brewery (must be 21+ to drink). There is something for everyone with pumpkin painting*, hay rides*, colonial dancing and more! Fall Harvest Festival at Newlin Grist mill is a fun-filled day of family activities! *Cost involved
