The 2025 polo season gallops into action as Brandywine Polo Club celebrates Opening Day on Sunday, May 25, with an afternoon of exhilarating matches, festive traditions, and unforgettable experiences for all ages. Gates open at 12:30 PM, with the first match—a spirited B-Flight competition—beginning at 1:30 PM, followed by the featured high-goal match at 3:00 PM, showcasing talented players from Ecuador, Argentina, the Dominican Republic, and Pennsylvania, competing on the club’s premier #1 Dixie Land Energy Polo Field.

This season opener also marks the grand opening of The Polo Bar by Casa Carmen—a stylish new addition where spectators can enjoy handcrafted cocktails and fine wines in an elegant, relaxed atmosphere. Foodies will love On the Roll Food Truck, serving up the best lobster rolls in town, while fans enjoy shaded daily tailgates, reserved Polo Pavilion tables, and brand-new terrace seating designed for comfort and a perfect view of the action. A beloved tradition, the Champagne Divot Stomp will take place at halftime, inviting spectators to step onto the field, sip bubbly, and help replace divots left by the ponies.

Tickets start at just $15 per person online ($20 at the gate). Tailgating, pavilion tables, and premium seating options are available for an elevated viewing experience. The Brandywine Polo season runs for four months, from May 25 through September 28, with matches held every Friday at 5:30 PM and every Sunday at 3:00 PM.
