The 12th Annual Chef’s Best is being held on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Goodwill Fire Co., 552 E. Union St., West Chester, PA. Event-goers will sample our contenders’ mouth-watering creations and then vote for their favorite dish. Tickets Available at https://www.actinfaithgwc.org/ Chef Tom Pizzica and his Philly Hots food truck will return to defend their title. His competitors will be Southbound BBQ Co. food truck and Parish Hall Kitchen, non-profit meal distribution and catering. Guests can also enjoy a variety of locally made desserts, California wines, and opportunities to support the organization.

All proceeds support ACT in Faith of Greater West Chester, an organization that seeks to empower un- and under-employed West Chester residents to stabilize their households and build toward sustainability. In 2024, 767 households received support - 1038 adults and 620 children - which include eviction and utility shut-off prevention, employment and transportation support services, and personal care and household items, and homemade heat-and-eat meals available to all shoppers at its Community Cupboard.
