The MontCo Heroes Festival Returns May 17 to Benefit First Responders & Military Personnel

This spring, the Montgomery County community will be coming together to turn up the music, fire up the grills, and rev’ its engines to support the bravery and dedication of its first responders, veterans, and military personnel and their families. The Fourth Annual MontCo Heroes Festival is set for Saturday, May 17 at the Lower Providence Fire Company Fair Grounds to support the Montgomery County Hero Fund.
This high-energy event will feature special live performances from such renowned artists as Bonehead, Tommy Conwell, who will be debuting his new classic rock band The House Rockers, Josceppi, and Camille K. The Irish Thunder Pipes and Drums band will also make a special appearance for the Fourth Annual MontCo Heroes Festival’s opening ceremonies and Camille K. will sing the “Star Spangled Banner.”
In addition to the music lineup, the event will include an amateur BBQ competition and tasting, beer garden, wine and spirits, beverages, food trucks, children’s play area, donut sale, and a truck and Jeep Rally.
Net proceeds from The Fourth Annual MontCo Heroes Festival will directly benefit the Montgomery County Hero Fund, a 501 (C)(3) corporation that was founded in 2012 by Sharon and Sean E. Cullen in response to the murder of Officer Brad Fox of the Plymouth Township Police Department and United States Marine Corps (Ret.). The purpose of the fund is to provide immediate and ongoing relief and services to law enforcement officers, military personnel, firefighters, paramedics and/or first responders or their loved ones as a result of tragedy on duty in or in service of the people of Montgomery County, PA.
“Whether they’re wearing a uniform on the battlefield or answering emergency calls from here in Montgomery County, our first responders represent the very best of us,” said Sean Cullen. “This event is our chance to say thank you and make a real difference in their lives.”
