Hi everyone! My name is Zara, and I am a senior at Conestoga High School, as well as co-President of Girl Up Conestoga, a chapter of the broader, UN-backed organization, Girl Up. Our club is excited to announce that we will be hosting our first-ever Gender Equity Seminar on Sunday, August 11 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Tredyffrin Library. This enriching, fast-paced program invites kids (all genders are welcome!) ages 8-14 to learn about the barriers to girls' empowerment around the world. There will be free food, music, and games, as well as the opportunity to converse with fellow Conestoga High School students.
