Brandywine Valley Chorale’s spring concert welcomes an enthusiastic mix of works that celebrate rebirth, resurgence, and revival ! The performance features New Beginnings by songwriter Joseph Eckman – telling an overarching story of redemption and renewal through three separate but related chapters – Hurt, Hope and Healing. The suite is inspired by poetry and music by Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, and The Beatles. The concert also includes the majestic and joyous Wedding Cantata by American composer Daniel Pinkham and a beautiful acappella setting of You Are the New Day from Welsh rock musician John David.
