Dane Tilghman's Artist Reception solo performer musician, Bryan Parr

Black History Mont artists – Dane Tilghman and Bryan Parr.

Dane Tilghman, a professional artist with nearly 40 years of experience, brings his thought-provoking and visually stunning artwork to the forefront. The walls of Mac's Foxhole, the event's host bar, will be adorned with Dane's pieces. Known for his extravagant style and vibrant color palette, Dane's work centers around bringing awareness to the lost history of African American communities throughout the U.S. Embracing a fusion of cubism, impressionism, and realism, Dane utilizes palette knife work and various mediums to create textured masterpieces that highlight the significance of Black life and culture. His powerful yet poignant works serve as a reminder of the importance of unity and understanding among people of all colors and creeds. Bryan Parr, a musical virtuoso with a rich background in R&B, jazz, and more, will enchant the audience with a solo performance ahead of Dane Tilghman's showcase. Bryan, who dedicated his life to music early on, is a multi instrumentalist and has played alongside major acts such as the Delfonics, Blue Magic, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, and Patti Labelle. His debut recording, "Bryan Parr- I'll Write Songs for You" established him in the music industry, leading to the creation of The Blind Date Band.
