The 7th Polar Express will feature over a dozen vendors all of whom hand make the items they sell. A wide variety of crafts for sale will include original artwork (paintings, drawings, magnets, ornaments), beautiful upscale original watercolor jewelry, mittens, scarves, wreaths for any occasion, bowl cozies, receiving blankets, stuffed animals and other baby items, jams, baked goods, chocolates, embroidered items, purses, wallets, cutting boards, seasonal items and more. The silent auction will include donations from each vendor as well as gift baskets from church members. The name of our event originated from many church members being train enthusiasts, so of course there will be model trains on display! The Polar Express movie will be shown with free popcorn and hot chocolate. An assortment of food and beverages, including homemade chicken corn soup and chili will be available throughout the day for a light lunch. Quarts of soup can be purchased to take home.
