Discover the benefits of the new buds, young leaves, and fresh growth as we identify wild-edibles in the landscape in this Spring Into Foraging Workshop.

We will take a foraging walk around the property before heading back to the center to try some pre-made seasonal wild-edibles and create our own tea blends use to awaken and strengthen our bodies & immune systems during the workshop. The first portion of the event will take place outside, learning about foraging etiquette, sustainability, and plant ID. Foraging Documents to create your own Materia Medica (foraging book) will be available. Each participant will also get to create their own custom loose-leaf tea blend made from locally foraged plants. Pease dress according to the weather. The event is held rain or shine. During this Spring Foraging Workshop, participants will be able to try Dandelion Root Latte, Spring Wildflower cupcakes, Garlic Mustard and Chickweed Pesto over crackers, and Violet Spring Tonic.
