Richard P Hand dreamed of a PAOP endowment fund to help fund education and aviation experiences for kids and community. He told Kara he wanted to keep aviation alive for the next generation. After losing his battle with esophageal cancer in 2021, his wife remembered his dream.  She organized his endowment fund in his memory to help educated the local youth about aviation.  This yearly fundraiser for the PAOP Richard P. Hand Aviation Endowment fund—BigGuyFlys helps to fund this program.
