After many years of planting strawberries, one day Pop Pop Lytle - or Farmer Don, as some of you may know him - decided on a whim to plant pumpkins. Always a wild story-teller and a spirited hayride driver, Pop Pop Lytle has made the farm a place where families flock and community comes together. And now decades later, the Lytle family continues the tradition. If you come visit the farm located in New London, you will find a pick-your-own pumpkin patch, a free hayride through the fields, a more recently added corn maze, gourds of every color and shape, and you may even spot some sheep! The corn maze launched in 2011 as a fundraiser for the now 22-year-old Lytle triplets, and it’s back again with new surprises to find inside. We also challenge those who are more competitive to figure out the giant word that we cut into the paths of the maze. We look forward to seeing you all come back again this fall, and Pop Pop Lytle is still around to say hello, too. And thank you to all of you who come back year after year - we love being able to share Fall memories with you.
