Avondale Borough Hall will serve as a Toys for Tots collection site from now until the Santa Train event on Friday, Nov. 29.

The Toys for Tots program, organized by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, has a long and trusted history of bringing joy and hope to children in need. Donations of new, unwrapped toys — including books — help foster positive self-esteem, promote literacy, and remind children that they are cared for and valued. Community members are encouraged to drop off donations at Avondale Borough Hall at 110 Pomeroy Avenue in Avondale during regular business hours—Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. By participating, residents not only brighten a child’s holiday season but also strengthen the spirit of community that makes Avondale so special.
