Doe Run Farm in Coatesville was one of the many splendid stops along this year’s Chester County Day House Tour, held on Oct. 4. 

The 84th annual tour featured historic homes and locations throughout the southwest quadrant of the county that included Avondale, Kennett Square, West Grove and West Chester. Proceeds from the event support Chester County Hospital and the communities it serves.
