In July, the southern Chester County community donated 12,075 pounds of food to the Kennett Area Community Service’s Food Cupboard, including fresh produce from local gardens and non-perishable staples like canned and dry goods. If you would like to donate food and other household items to the agency, drop off your contributions to Kennett Area Community Service from Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 136 Cedar Street, Kennett Square, Pa.
