On July 28, with help from U.S. Rep. Chrissy Hulahan, State Sen Carolyn Comitta and County Commissioners Josh Maxwell and Marian Moskowitz, the City of Coatesville kicked off the groundbreaking celebration for Phases I and II of a five-phase project to fully renovate the 9.3-acre Ash Park. 

With the design phase completed, significant development will occur over a four- to six-month period and include expanded play and recreation areas, renovated basketball courts including a new third court, a splash pad, a common area, landscaping and stormwater infrastructure improvements, and a new pavilion. Future phases will include upgrades to the soccer field and the construction of a new picnic area pavilion.
