From our lens: Walking through our history
The Chester County Planning Commission is presenting “Untold and Under-told Stories of Coatesville” on June 26, as part of its Town Tours and Village Walks series, now in its 31st year.
Featured on a walking tour of the city's Historic District will be a variety of stops pointing out this unique and disappearing Art Deco architecture, with emphasis on unique stories of the area that may be unknown or only partially known. The 90-minite walking tour will begin at the Lukens Executive Building, 50 South First Avenue, Coatesville, and begin at 5:30 p.m. To learn about additional village tours of Chester County locations being held this summer, visit https://chescoplanning.org/historic/towntours.
