Oxfordian: The Oxford Harvest Festival

For 35 years, the Oxford Presbyterian Church held one of Oxford’s favorite events – the Apple Festival. The festival began in 1989 after the devastating fire to the Oxford Presbyterian Church.  It’s original mission was to raise funds to rebuild the church. Since 1989 the OPC Apple Festival not only raised those rebuilding funds but also donated thousands of dollars to local organizations in Oxford all centered around family fun and community celebration.

When the Oxford Chamber heard that 2024 would be the final year of the Apple Festival, we reached out to see if we could reimagine the festival into a Chamber event. With the blessing of the Church, we are so looking forward to presenting the Oxford Harvest Festival on September 27th at the Oxford Area Recreation Authority Park. With artisan vendors, music and food trucks we look to keeping the mission of family fun and community celebration as OPC did for the past 35 years.  Follow us on social media and our website for updated information on the Oxford Harvest Festival.
