West Chester-based artist Brett Anderson Walker has completed his new book, “The Killing Name,” a mystery-thriller, which is available through Page Publishing.
“The Killing Name” (first in a series), follows the exploits of Private Investigator Cubby Dillon, a cocky American living in Paris. Despite his desire to be an artist, he finds it impossible to complete a single painting. Fortunately, his uncanny ability to locate missing persons, coupled with a steadfast respect for client confidentiality, has made him highly sought-after by Europe’s wealthy. When Dillon is hired by a Belgian chocolate heiress to locate her missing
husband, he is drawn into the web of two brutal Russian brothers determined to implicate him in a series of murders.
Even with the help of his best friend, Captain Pierre Lamont of the Paris Homicide Department, it will require stealth and a lot of luck to clear him and disrupt the brothers’ ring of
prostitution. The story moves from the filthy smelting plants of Nizhny Tagil, Russia, to
upscale Parisian art galleries, climaxing at an African festival in the southwest of France.
“The Killing Name” is at bookstores, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
