PENN’S GROVE CONTEST AIMS TO SHUT THE DOOR ON DRUGS AND ALCOHOL

11/06/2014 01:32PM ● By Lev

From October 27 to 31 the Student Council of Penn's Grove Middle School sponsored the annual Spirit Days in conjunction with Red Ribbon Week, the oldest and largest drug prevention campaign in the United States. Red Ribbon Week serves as a vehicle for communities and individuals to support drug prevention initiatives and education and make a personal commitment to live drug-free lives. A highlight of the week was a contest where each homeroom decorated its classroom door in a seasonal theme with a message on the dangers of drugs and alcohol. Winning homerooms were awarded a pizza party for their creative efforts.
