Kennett Police take part in drug disposals

09/16/2014 08:43PM ● By Lev

The Kennett Square Police Department is hosting two collection sites for the public to dispose of unused, unwanted and expired prescription medication. Dropping the medication prevents the drugs from falling into the hands of teens, or polluting water supplies if they are simply dumped into the trash. This is a nationwide event and no registration is required.

The collections are Sept. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kennett Square Police Department (115 N. Broad St., Kennett Square); and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Anson B. Nixon Park as part of the Vive tu Vida Health Fair.
