Friends Meetinghouse 175th
The Homeville Friends Meetinghouse (4904 Homeville Rd., Cochranville) will mark its 175th year with a community celebration on Aug. 24. There will be harp music by Janet Witman at 1 p.m., a meeting for worship at 2 p.m., and a presentation by Chris Densmore, the curator of the Friends Historical Library of Swarthmore, at 2:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Crafters wanted
Nottingham Presbyterian Church in Nottingham is holding its annual family fun day and craft fair on Sept. 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Herr's Snack Factory parking lot (routes 1 and 272), and is looking for exhibitors. A silent auction will be held to benefit Heart of Hope in West Grove, whose mission is to help families facing the challenges of pediatric heart transplants. A booth space is $20 ($30 for a double). Clothing sale

used clothing and toy sale will be held at Grove United Methodist
Church (490 W. Boot Rd., West Chester) on the evening of Sept. 17,
and the mornings of Sept. 18 and 19. Donations will be accepted Sept.
14 to 16 for gently used clothing for all ages, toys, children's
books, and baby equipment. Proceeds benefit local charities. Call 610

'Zumbathon' for charity

United Methodist Church (490 W. Boot Rd., West Chester) and HomeAID
for Africa host a "Zumbathon" to raise funds for orphans in
Africa on Sept. 27. Beginning at 3 p.m., participants can come for 90
minutes of tag-team Zumba led by a variety of area Zumba
